FOR OUR FUTURE
My career as a small businessman in the rolling hills of North Georgia laid the foundation for the beliefs I rely on in the Georgia House of Representatives. I have seen firsthand the results of responsible governing and conservative principles that put Georgia and Barrow County back on the path to prosperity. Together, we have laid the foundation to keep Georgia No. 1 for years to come.
RESPONSIBLE GOVERNING
Rep. England has used his position as Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee to reduce the size of state government and to prioritize growing revenues on education, infrastructure improvement and healthcare. Because of his leadership, Georgia has maintained its AAA bond rating, passed a balanced budget every year, and is now on the verge of replenishing the Rainy Day Fund to more than $2 billion.
GROWING OUR ECONOMY
Georgia has become the No. 1 state in the nation for business. As a result of strategic tax cuts and a focus on economic development, over 450,000 private-sector jobs have been created over the last five years throughout Georgia. We are working to connect our colleges and universities with the businesses that provide these jobs in Barrow County and to keep Georgia the economic engine of the South.
CONSERVATIVE PRINCIPLES
On issues such as protecting the unborn and securing our Second Amendment Rights, Terry has proven that his conservative principles guide him under the Gold Dome.
MEET TERRY ENGLAND
Representative Terry England (R-Auburn) has spent his twelve years in the Georgia House of Representatives serving the citizens of Barrow County and House District 116. Taking the principles and experiences learned from his life as a farmer and small-businessman, Terry has worked tirelessly in the Georgia General Assembly to make, and keep, our state the best place in the nation to do business.
